Fund Discipleship | Gear Up Ministry Founding Campaign

Fund the first year of discipleship
for the next generation.

Gear Up Ministry is raising $70,000 to launch a full year of discipleship capacity — reaching young people from 6th grade through college, equipping the leaders who walk with them, and making biblical resources more accessible across DFW.

This campaign funds curriculum, outreach, leader equipping, and the ministry infrastructure needed to disciple young people with consistency.

What Your Gift Funds

This campaign funds discipleship capacity. Not just activity.

Every gift helps create the time, tools, and structure needed to walk young people toward Jesus with consistency.

Real ministry already happening
Not theory — discipleship work

The discipleship work is already moving.

Your gift expands the capacity to show up for students, leaders, and churches with biblical formation, not just inspiration.

Gear Up Ministry exists for a specific population: young men and women from 6th grade through college who are unchurched, doubting, wounded, angry, or hungry for something real. They are in DFW. They are in juvenile facilities, foster care placements, small churches, public schools, college campuses, and homes where faith may feel distant, confusing, or impossible.

The heart of this campaign is discipleship. Not a bigger brand. Not a more polished platform. Not a ministry that only creates content from a distance. The goal is to help young people move from spiritual survival into rooted life with Christ through Scripture, testimony, relational presence, and practical resources leaders can actually use.

The $70,000 goal funds the first full year of discipleship capacity — the ability to create resources, lead cohorts, equip leaders, respond to ministry opportunities, and make Anchored available as a 20-week formation pathway for believers who need truth to move from head knowledge into heart transformation.

Discipleship takes availability. A youth pastor walking with a student in crisis needs more than a PDF. A leader trying to run Anchored needs someone who understands the pathway from head knowledge to heart transformation. A foster parent discipling a teenager through trauma needs tools that take real brokenness seriously. A church trying to form believers needs a pathway deeper than one emotional night.

Your gift helps remove the limits that keep the work small. It funds the people being discipled, the leaders being equipped, the resources being created, and the ministry infrastructure needed to serve with consistency.

Where the Discipleship Goes

What a full year of capacity makes possible.

This is what $70,000 in founding support unlocks — a discipleship pathway for young people and real tools for the leaders walking with them.

What discipleship support multiplies

More students reached. More leaders equipped.

Founding support turns moments like this into a repeatable discipleship pathway for the next generation.

Young People Discipled

Cohorts of young men and women walked through Anchored — a 20-week Scripture-shaped discipleship pathway built to move believers from head knowledge to heart transformation, then into disciple-making.

Leaders and Churches Equipped

Youth pastors, foster parents, chaplains, mentors, and church leaders equipped with theology and curriculum for the young people they are already walking with. The ministry multiplies through the people it equips.

Curriculum in More Hands

Anchored packaged, refined, and distributed to churches, groups, and programs across DFW — including access for organizations that need discipleship resources but cannot afford them. Anchored is the believer-formation pathway. The campaign funds its reach.

Underserved Programs Reached

Juvenile facilities, recovery programs, foster care organizations, reentry programs, and under-resourced ministries — the places that may not have a budget but still need biblical discipleship that shows up.

Teaching Resources Built and Launched

The Cure for the Walking Dead and future discipleship resources get the focused development needed to serve youth pastors, mentors, parents, and leaders beyond what local presence alone can reach.

A Discipleship Partner Network Built

DFW churches, ministries, and nonprofits connected through curriculum, leader support, partner giving, and sustainable mission tools. A network of churches participating in the work creates impact that outlasts any single campaign.

What stays limited without discipleship capacity

Weekday availability for juvenile and foster care programs. Coaching for leaders walking with students in crisis. Resource development for churches and programs that need discipleship help. The ability to respond to ministry need with consistency instead of only in the margins.

Who This Discipleship Reaches

Five conditions. One destination: resurrection life in Christ.

Your gift helps disciple young people in every one of these conditions — and equips the adults walking with them.

The Unchurched

Young people who have never meaningfully encountered Christian faith. Not hostile — just unreached. This ministry goes where they are rather than waiting for them to come to a building.

The Doubting

Young people who have encountered faith and found it unconvincing. They need honest engagement with hard questions — not pat answers — and a ministry willing to sit in the uncertainty with them.

The Wounded

Young people hurt by people, systems, or circumstances that should have protected them. Foster care. Abuse. Abandonment. They need trust rebuilt slowly, by someone who knows what that road looks like.

The Angry

Young people with legitimate reasons for what they feel. They don't need their anger dismissed — they need someone to sit in it with them, without flinching, until the path forward becomes visible.

The Hungry

Young people who know something is missing and are ready to find it. Already reaching — they just need a hand to reach back. The most ready population this ministry serves.

Their Leaders

Youth pastors, foster parents, chaplains, group home staff, reentry mentors — the adults walking with young people in these five conditions. Equipping them multiplies every other investment.

Transparency: Gear Up Ministry is a mission-driven business in the process of formal legal entity formation. Contributions support the discipleship work directly and are not currently tax-deductible. We are pursuing formal nonprofit status and will notify all partners when that status is confirmed. Questions? info@gearupministry.com

Common Questions

What people ask before they fund the work.

Clear answers. Mission-first transparency.

Not at this time. Gear Up Ministry is pursuing formal nonprofit and 501(c)(3) status. Until that is confirmed, contributions are not tax-deductible. We believe in being honest about this rather than claiming something that isn't yet true. We'll notify all partners the moment that changes.

The ministry launches regardless. $70,000 represents the full-runway target — the number that gives Gear Up 12 months of discipleship capacity to build, serve, and distribute resources without financial pressure limiting the work. If we raise less, the ministry adjusts its timeline and margin, not its mission. Apparel, curriculum, speaking, digital ministry support, and partner relationships combine with whatever is raised to produce a viable path. Less capital means a tighter window, not a different destination.

All partners receive ministry update emails with real progress — young people discipled, leaders equipped, cohorts started, curriculum distributed, speaking opportunities completed, and resources created. We'll publish a full annual impact report at the end of year one. Accountability to our partners is part of the discipleship work itself.

Yes — and monthly giving is one of the most helpful forms of support because it provides predictable support the ministry can plan from. Each tier has a monthly option: $25/month (Prayer Partner), $50/month (Discipleship Partner), or $100/month (Founding Partner), structured over 12 months. Both options are available on the giving page.

Yes. Churches and organizations can give at any tier, including custom amounts outside the three listed tiers. For churches giving from a discretionary ministry fund or making a larger institutional investment, reach out directly at chayce@gearupministry.com. We'd also love to talk about curriculum access, leader equipping, and ongoing partnership opportunities beyond the founding campaign.

Anchored is a 20-week discipleship pathway built on Hebrews 6:19. It was created to help believers move from head knowledge to heart transformation, then from personal discipleship into mission, evangelism, and multiplication. It's available at gearupministry.com/curriculum. The Cure for the Walking Dead — the book built on Ezekiel 37 and the founder's testimony — is in professional developmental editing and is projected to release late 2026 or early 2027. The Bottom Line

There are young people in DFW who need someone to
walk with them toward Jesus.

This campaign funds the first full year of discipleship capacity — so Gear Up can reach young people, equip leaders, and create biblical resources with consistency.
